ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY IN THE HEART OF THE NETHERLANDS AT 'DE VELUWE'
Wanting to get away from it all this summer? In wonderful surroundings with activities filled with fun for your kids, and that at an affordable rate! Sounds like music to you? Then pack your stuff and head for Hotel Belmont in Ede in the Netherlands this summer.

Especially for people with a tight budget Hotel Belmont is offering tailor made holidays, which are regularly organized by us under the name Joyvakantie, meaning Joyholidays.

For young children, teenagers and parents alike, there is a lot doing around at Belmont then. Children for instance can, under supervision, practice their climbing skills up a climbing tower or try to master rope tracks at our outdoor centre, and furthermore participate in all kinds of sports and games or just potter about.

For parents there are various things do to as well. Such as taking a ramble in the woods under the professional guidance of a forester, making an excursion to the Dutch National Park ‘De Hoge Veluwe’, famous for its abundant wild life and special flora, or tasting some proper Dutch coffee at a historical farmhouse in the nearby village of Lunteren. Wandering about on your own. through the varied landscapes surrounding Belmont, is also a wonderful option of course.

Especially so as Hotel Belmont is situated right in the heart of a many-sided area being made up by the Valley of Gelders, the Range of Hills of Utrecht and – last but not least – the most extensive stretch of woodlands in the entire Netherlands: the splendid ‘De Veluwe’. Forming together a varied landscape where vast woods are interspersed by wide open spaces and neat farmlands. Making it a joy to ramble about or do some biking. Just within walking range of Belmont, moreover, there is an open-air swimming pool with a pleasant temperature of 21 degrees Celsius. Just perfect for warmer days.

In the mean time our kitchen staff will be busy preparing tasty dishes for you, trying to make every meal worth your while during your holiday.

During these holidays we pointedly like to accommodate different religious persuasions or life principles. Attending a service in the neighbourhood is, of course, also an option.

PERSONS WHO CAN APPLY FOR A JOYVAKANTIE (JOYHOLIDAY)
(Single) parents with children. For children a maximum age of 15 years is applicable.
New applications are given priority and the remaining applications are dealt with in the order they come in.

INCLUDED IN THE RATE:

• breakfast, lunch, dinner
• all activities
• supervision during the activities
• any diet meals
• any baby cots, baby chairs, et cetera

 

NOT INCLUDED:

• costs for personal expenses, such as telephone costs and individual excursions
• transport to and from the accommodation
